Large Diameter Carbon Fiber Tube

Runfeng CFRP produce high strength large diameter carbon fiber tube with standard modulus or high modulus carbon fibre. SM carbon fibre is the most common grade of carbon fibre used for carbon fibre tubes. Standard modulus carbon fiber offer excellent strength and stiffness for the carbon fibre tubing.

Natural tube : +/-0.1mm ~ +/-0.15mm

Polished tube : +/-0.05mm

Manufacture Process

Our large diameter carbon fiber tube is produced by roll wrapped process, which is wrapping the carbon fiber unidirectional prepreg in various layers and directions on the mandrel, and then cured under extreme heat and pressure.

Based on our more than 10 years of experience in producing carbon fiber pipes, we have summarized the strength characteristics unique to different directions of layers:

Fibers in the 0 degree direction, provide high bending strength and stiffness.

Fibers in the 15 degree and 45degree direction, provide the high torsional strength and stiffness

Fibers in the 90 degree direction, provide high crushing stiffness and overall strength.

With our rich experience, we can adjust the layers direction in accordance with various customer requirements.

Application

The large diameter carbon fiber tube be widely used in roller shafts, robotic arms, camera slider track, astronomical telescope components, barrier pole and more.

Quality Control

Runfeng CFRP take 100% inspection for orders before packed. We have different test items for different products, and we can also do individual testing according to customers' requirements. All orders will be packed and shipped only after passed inspection.
