On October 31, the world's first floating wind-fishing integration project "Guoneng Sharing" platform completed all engineering installations at the Nanri Island Offshore Wind Farm in Putian, Fujian. It will soon be put into production and will effectively guide China's wind power development into the deep sea.
This project has created a new model for the integration of offshore wind power and fishery farming, creating a new situation of "producing green products underwater and producing clean energy above water", helping offshore wind power, cage farming equipment and other marine economic integrated development models to advance into the deep sea.
Innovative applications of composite materials are an important force in promoting industrial development
In this floating wind-fishing fusion project, composite materials play a vital role. Composite material is a material that is composed of two or more different materials through a specific process and has the characteristics of their respective raw materials. In this project, composite materials are mainly used in the following aspects:
Blades of wind turbines : Composite blades have the advantages of light weight, high strength, and fatigue resistance, which can reduce the overall weight of the wind turbine and improve power generation efficiency. At the same time, composite blades have strong adaptability to wind speed and can stably generate electricity under different wind speed conditions.
Floating wind power device: This project uses pontoons made of composite materials, which have good buoyancy, corrosion resistance and wear resistance. This enables wind power devices to operate stably in seawater for a long time and reduces maintenance costs.
Fishing ground facilities: The application of composite materials in fishing ground facilities mainly includes fishing nets, breeding facilities, etc. Composite fishing nets have the advantages of wear resistance, anti-aging, and anti-ultraviolet rays, which can extend the service life of fishing nets. In addition, composite materials can also be used to manufacture fishery fences, breeding cages and other facilities to provide a good breeding environment.
Transmission lines: The transmission lines in this project may use composite power cables, which have the advantages of light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, and anti-aging. This can reduce the construction and maintenance costs of transmission lines while improving transmission efficiency.
Project construction and maintenance equipment: The application of composite materials in project construction and maintenance equipment, such as drones, underwater robots, etc., can improve work efficiency and reduce labor costs.
In short, in this floating wind-fishing integration project, composite materials played an important role in wind power generation, fishery breeding and related facilities, providing strong support for the efficient, environmentally friendly and sustainable development of the project. With the continuous advancement of composite material technology, there will be wider application prospects in new energy, fishery and other fields in the future.
