Product Details ofCarbon Fiber Driveshafts

The main body of our carbon fiber driveshafts is made of carbon fiber filament winding, and the outside could be covered with UD carbon fiber cloth or 3K carbon fibre cloth, so that the appearance has more choices, and better uniformity of the roller body. we will make the calibration with dynamic balancer before shipment. When the speed reaches 1200rpm, the runout of the roller body is within 0.03mm.

Production Process: CNC winding (imported winding software, excellent space winding theory, precise surface geometry calculation principle), Cylindrical grinding

Surface coating: silicon carbide ceramic, wear-resistant coating imported from Italy (Surface can be customized on request)

Advantages


 

1. In addition to the well-known good stiffness and less deflection (capable of carrying strong torque and tension at high speeds) than traditional steel and aluminum rollers, the carbon fiber prop shaft has a smoother surface. The bearing wear is reduced, and resistance is smaller, so that the longer working life and less maintenance cost.

2. Thanks to the light weight and high elastic modulus of carbon fibre, the diameter and rotary inertia of the roller are reduced; And the range of high speed and stable rotation speed is enlarged, also the limiting speed of the roll body is increased, which is more than twice the speed of the steel roll, so that the speed of the carbon prop shaft is more than double that of the steel roller.

3. The weight is lighter than the traditional roller, so the inertia is smaller during high-speed operation, and the torque is reduced by an average of 50% compared with the steel roller.

5. The Carbon fiber driveshafts itself is corrosion-resistant and is suitable for occasions with chemical corrosion.

6. The carbon fibre rollers is not sensitive to temperature, and its expansion coefficient is 0.2x10-6/°C. Its own change can be ignored under the change of ambient temperature, which makes the equipment more stable.
